I listen to very few new bands, but keeping up to date with the few I follow is a nightmare. I either have to remind myself to visit their site every now and again for updates or subscribe to their mailing list, if they have one. But these routes show me junk I don’t want. I don’t care that they’re going to be on the Jay Leno Show or touring 2000 miles away from where I live.

What I want is a simple website which tells me when my favourite bands are releasing a new album or performing near me.
